Authorities Investigate Threats Against Harford Co. High School

HARFORD COUNTY, Md. (WJZ)—The Harford County Sheriff's Office says they have investigated threats against North Harford High School and have determined that there's no threat to the school.

According to police, information was being shared through social media related to graffiti, a list, and acts of violence associated with after school activities at the school.

Authorities say they have investigated these posts, spoken to those responsible and there is no information to substantiate any of the threats.

Police ask the public to be cautious when sharing posts that may be false.

The sheriff's office says out of an abundance of caution, they will have a uniformed presence at the school for the remainder of the week.
