Man Accused Of Stabbing Co-Worker At Towson Sheraton
TOWSON, Md. (WJZ/AP)—In Baltimore County, police have made an arrest in a stabbing at the Sheraton hotel in Towson.
Twenty-eight-year-old Derrick Lamont Newman, of Brooklyn, has been charged with attempted murder among other charges.
Police say Newman stabbed his co-worker in the head with a pocket knife during an argument in the elevator.
Newman allegedly stabbed the victim in the head.
The victim suffered non-life threatening injuries.
Newman tried to flee, but police caught up with him. When they did they found a handgun and narcotics.
He is being held without bail.
