AA Co Police Chief Announces Retirement
ANNAPOLIS, Md. (WJZ) -- Anne Arundel County Police Chief Larry Tolliver has issued his resignation.
Tolliver says his retirement is voluntary and not linked to recent complaints by an officer regarding an alleged racial slur.
Chief Tolliver says he's stepping down because the department needs a chief who can focus solely on the department's mission. He says he wishes the county's officers the best.
His last day is May 21.
