6 People In Chesapeake Bay After Boat Takes On Water
BALTIMORE (WJZ) -- A good Samaritan has been hailed a hero for making a swift water rescue near Kent Island.
Saturday night, a 23-foot boat with six people on board started taking on water in the Chesapeake Bay.
One of the boaters radioed for help; when the good Samaritan heard their distress call, he rescued them from the sinking ship.
Emergency crews later stabilized the boat until it could be towed to shore.
