6 Hospitalized After Running Generator Overnight Causes Carbon Monoxide Leak

BALTIMORE (WJZ)—Six people were hospitalized after a carbon monoxide leak on Monday morning.

It happened in the 1800 block of Laurens Street.

Baltimore City Fire Department officials say high levels of carbon monoxide were found coming from a business in the neighborhood.

Six people, including two children were sent to the hospital where they remain in stable condition.

The cause of the carbon monoxide exposure was due to generators running in a garage overnight, police said.
