4 Hospitalized After Single Car Accident

PRINCE GEORGE'S COUNTY, Md. (WJZ) -- Four people have been hospitalized after a single car accident on southbound I-95 near Md. Route 198.

According to police, a 2009 Toyota Corolla was traveling south on I-95 in the left lane. The vehicle lost control, crossed all four lanes of 95, then drove off the right shoulder, entered the woods and struck several trees, finally stopping approximately 50 feet in the woods. Four people were trapped in the car.

Two adults were taken to Shock Trauma with serious injuries, one child was taken to Johns Hopkins Children's Center with serious injuries and another child was takne to Laurel Regional Medical Center with life-threatening injuries.
