2 Incumbent Councilmembers Re-Elected In Crisfield
CRISFIELD, Md. (AP) -- Two incumbent at-large members of the Crisfield City Council have won re-election.
The Daily Times of Salisbury reports that LaVerne Johnson led with 250 votes, and was followed by Mike Atkins with 150. There were five challengers for the seats.
Johnson was appointed to the City Council six years ago and was elected to the post in 2008.
Atkins was appointed five years ago to fill a vacancy and also was elected in 2008.
