2 Dead In Crash On B/W Parkway
LAUREL, Md. (AP) -- A father and son from northern Virginia are dead after a crash on the Baltimore-Washington Parkway.
U.S. Park Police say a car heading south in the Laurel area crossed into the northbound lanes and crashed into two vehicles around 1 a.m. Sunday.
Two occupants of the southbound vehicle died at the scene. They were identified as 67-year-old Jae Ro and his son, 38-year-old Young Ro, both of Herndon, Va.
Police spokesman Sgt. David Schlosser says there was no precipitation at the time, and weather is not believed to be a factor. The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
An occupant of one of the northbound vehicles was flown to a trauma center with non-life-threatening injuries.
