2 Dead After Silver Spring Car Collision
SILVER SPRING, Md. (AP) -- Police in Montgomery County say two people are dead after an overnight car crash in Silver Spring.
Police say the accident occurred around 12:20 Saturday morning in the Cloverly section. It happened when a 2002 silver Subaru swerved off Holly Grove Road and struck a tree.
The car caught fire, and the driver and front-seat passenger both died.
Police haven't released the name of either person and say they're still investigating the cause.
An autopsy is being done.
