1 Dead, 2 Injured In Eldersburg Car Wreck

ELDERSBURG, Md. (AP) -- One man was killed and two others seriously injured in a car wreck in Eldersburg.

The crash occurred just before 6 a.m. Sunday on Route 26 when a car lost control and rolled over a hill.

The car was driven by a teenager, who rolled through a parking lot, struck a pole then rolled down a hill.

The driver and his front passenger were taken to Shock Trauma for serious injuries. The passenger is in critical condition.

The backseat passenger was ejected during the rollover, and was pronounced dead at a nearby hospital.

The cause of the wreck is under investigation.
