Turkish leader lauds vote in favor of increasing his power

A dramatic political change underway in Turkey is raising fears the country is moving away from democratic rule. President Recep Tayyip Erdogan declared victory Sunday in a referendum that gives him sweeping new powers. The country's electoral commission says the margin of victory was slim: 51 to 49 percent.
