Insurgents take Mosul as Iraqi army collapses
Iraq’s Prime Minister has ordered a state of emergency after Islamic militants seized control of Mosul, Iraq’s second largest city with 1.5 million people. The insurgents seized police stations, banks and government buildings. Elizabeth Palmer reports.
