Despite ride-sharing apps, traditional carpooling still popular
Ride-hailing apps like Uber and Lyft already connect millions with their carpooling options, but long before they came along, there was "casual carpool." The grassroots commuting option which does not use an app or any technology, has sprung up in places like Washington and Houston, but it all began in San Francisco. John Blackstone reports.
