Behind the scenes: Making of "Hamilton" in Puerto Rico
The Puerto Rican debut of Tony Award-winning musical "Hamilton" happens today. It's part of an effort to raise money and awareness for the U.S. territory after Hurricane Maria devasted the island in 2017. Creator Lin-Manuel Miranda will play the role he developed, Alexander Hamilton. He brought the show to the island where his parents were born.
