8/11: Robin Williams dead at 63; Bringing home the lost Marines of Tarawa
The comedian and Academy Award winning actor was found dead at his California home Monday.; and, In November 1943, 18,000 U.S. Marines stormed the Pacific island of Tarawa. It took the Marines three days to take the island. But the struggle to bring the fallen soldiers home has lasted 70 years.
