Virginia Beach shooter resigned before massacre, police chief says
Virginia Beach Police Chief James A. Cervera spoke to reporters Sunday morning and said shooter DeWayne Craddock had submitted his resignation hours before opening fire at a municipal center and killing 12 people. The police chief then gave a timeline of the events of the shooting.
