U.S. works to get more COVID-19 vaccine doses amid concerns over new variant

There's a nationwide scramble to get more doses of the coronavirus vaccine as new cases continue to rise. Nearly 20 million Americans have received at least one vaccine shot. But states are reporting shortages in their supply, amid growing concerns over a new, more contagious variant of the virus. CBS News correspondent Tom Hanson reports on the latest on the pandemic and Dr. Craig Spencer, director of Global Health in Emergency Medicine at Columbia University Medical Center, joins CBSN's Lana Zak to discuss the nation's response to the health crisis.
