Snow falling fast and furious at 1 to 2 inches per hour
As a snowstorm hits the East Coast, the next big story is expected to be the cold. CBS Boston chief meteorologist Eric Fisher says the jet stream carving out a big trough in the central and eastern U.S. could bring an extended period of temperatures that are 10 to 30 degrees below average.
