Slain NYPD officers promoted posthumously

At the funeral for slain NYPD officer Rafael Ramos on Saturday, police commissioner Bill Bratton announced that he is posthumously promoting Ramos and his partner Wenjian Liu to detective. Bratton also named Ramos an honorary chaplain of his precinct, a position he had been working toward.
