He released his debut album back in 1974 and 22 studio albums have followed, featuring music that inspires fans and fellow artists. Dozens of legendary artists including Bob Dylan and Eric Clapton have covered his songs. Last month, he released "The Eclipse Sessions," his first new album in four years.
