Pedestrian death rate jumps 46 percent from 2009

The Insurance Institute for Highway Safety has released a new report showing an alarming rise in pedestrian deaths. Nearly 6,000 people were struck and killed by vehicles in 2016. That's a 46 percent jump since 2009 and the highest number since 1990. Kris Van Cleave reports.
