New York City students, police officers face off in chess

One hundred fifty New York Police Department officers went head-to-head in chess with New York inner-city students as part of an effort to build a relationship between cops and communities. Chess in the Schools, a non-profit after-school organization that has been teaching students the art of the game since 1986, sponsored the event.
