Videos released Tuesday show the suspected gunman in enhanced detail, walking and sometimes running in a residential area near Brown University's campus hours before Saturday's deadly mass shooting. We believe that he was actually casing out this area to commit the crime. Normally that's a pattern that criminals do.

Police say they don't know why the unidentified man appears to have a bag with him in some clips while, in others, it cannot be seen. They also have not determined the man's approximate age or if he has a connection to the university. I don't think we know anything about this person's motivations, at this point.

Rhode Island Attorney General Peter Neronha says there is no surveillance video of the person of interest inside the building where two students were killed and nine others injured. Brown has 1,200 cameras across campus, but Neronha says almost none were positioned to capture the shooter, citing the building's placement on the edge of campus. Whether that was by design by the shooter or not, I can't tell you. But it is an unfortunate circumstance for us because we just don't have the kind of surveillance video that you might think.

Police insist there is no threat to the community, and they are confident there will be a breakthrough soon, despite the manhunt now entering its fifth day without answers. The more time that passes, the more time this person of interest potentially has to get away. Correct, but the key here is identifying the person. Once a person is identified, at that point, it is very difficult to hide from law enforcement.

Hundreds of people packed church pews at a vigil Tuesday night honoring victims and families. You always assume if this happens, it's going to be somewhere else. But today, we're all someone else.

And seven of the nine injured students remain in the hospital. We're also seeing an obituary published for Ella Cook, one of the two students who died in Saturday's shooting. There will be a memorial service in her honor in her home state of Alabama. That happens on Monday.
