"Mysterious" spiral appears in night sky over Hawaii

A "mysterious whirlpool" was spotted by the Subaru Telescope on Mauna Kea, Hawaii, on January 18. Some scientists speculated it could be related to a SpaceX satellite launch earlier in the day.
