Massive rescue effort to save a pregnant manatee
A complex rescue operation is helping a pregnant manatee return to the wild. A Coast Guard plane touched down Tuesday in Florida, carrying the 800-pound marine mammal that was rescued in September off Massachusetts. Less than a month later, veterinarians gave the go-ahead to make the journey from Connecticut back to Florida. David Begnaud reports.
