First elephant was born conceived from frozen sperm

The first elephant conceived using frozen sperm via artificial insemination was born at a zoo in Vienna, Austria on Wednesday. The frozen sperm came from a wild elephant in Africa. The new technique will allow for a wider gene pool for zoo elephants.
