Concerns about USAGM editorial independence after Trump appointee fires network heads

The Wednesday night firing of all four remaining network heads at the U.S. Agency for Global Media has raised concern about the agency's editorial and political independence. President Trump's newly-appointed USAGM head, conservative documentarian Michael Pack, has raised eyebrows with an ominous promise to "examine some of the problems that have surfaced in the media in recent years."
