Black doulas combat the maternal mortality crisis

According to the CDC, Black babies are twice as likely to die before reaching their first birthday than White babies. Because of the discrepancies, more women of color are now seeking help from Black doulas to provide guidance and support during pregnancy and sometimes after childbirth.
