Will the rainbow steps at Oak Lawn United Methodist church be removed over a state order?

“These crosswalks are a sign of who we are, and it’s a sign of welcome and belonging for the people who are here. And in response to the threat of those being removed, these steps are just an additional offering – a way that the faith community can say to the neighborhood that in spite of that, we want you to know that you are seen and that you are loved,” said Oak Lawn UMC Rev. Rachel Griffin-Allison.
