WHO confirms Ebola outbreak in Central Africa; Dallas experts say city is prepared
The World Health Organization has declared an Ebola outbreak in the Democratic Republic of Congo and Uganda, with most cases reported in Congo. A North Texas infectious‑disease expert says that because of Dallas’ experience during the 2014 Ebola cases, local hospitals and medical staff are well equipped and knowledgeable about how to respond if a case were to appear here.
