There's some heat relief ahead in your weekend forecast

A heat advisory is in place until 8:00 p.m. Friday evening with feels like temperatures up to 108 degrees. There's also an elevated fire danger threat in effect. But, there is a brief break from the extreme heat thanks to a weak cold front from the north, bringing temperatures down to the 90s.
