Texas Democrats to discuss Black maternal health
It is Black Maternal Health Week and Wednesday, the Texas Democratic party will discuss the maternal health of Black women in our state. In Texas, and across the country, Black women have faced barriers when it comes to maternal care, which leads to Black women being three times more likely than a white woman to die during childbirth.
