Teen indicted in Daniel Erving drowning
Lucas Roper, 19, now faces charges of tampering with evidence in connection to the death of 18-year-old Daniel Erving.
Erving died in April after jumping from a Rowlett bridge into Lake Ray Hubbard. Police say roper and a 16 year old, not being identified because of their age, both saw Erving go under but did not call 911 or report the drowning. According to arrest records, the suspects then threw away Erving's phone and clothes.
