Showers move into North Texas as weather threat builds
A warm, mostly sunny day across North Texas is giving way to increasing clouds, mist and light drizzle as showers move in from the west along I‑20. Temperatures climbed into the 90s earlier but have now settled into the mid‑80s. Forecasters say the next couple of days will bring a growing threat of organized rain and potentially severe weather as the system continues drifting east and northeast at about 30 mph.
