Seniors at higher risk for death after RSV

Two new studies are suggesting that RSV can cause more severe symptoms in older adults, especially if they have underlying conditions. Studies show that nearly all older adults, 75 and older, who are hospitalized with RSV had at least one underlying condition. Nearly a fifth of those had to be admitted to the ICU and nearly 5% died.
