Prosecution rests after jury hears graphic FedEx truck recording in Athena Strand case
Prosecutors have rested in the sentencing phase for Tanner Horner, who pleaded guilty to killing 7‑year‑old Athena Strand. In court Thursday, jurors heard Athena’s screams captured on a camera inside the FedEx truck Horner was driving the day she was abducted and murdered. The recording was so graphic the judge barred cameras from the courtroom while it played.
