Premature births may be linked to synthetic chemicals

A new study is linking a synthetic chemical as a possible cause for an increase in premature births. Researchers say that the chemical phthalates are known as "everywhere chemicals" because they're so common. They appear in items like food packaging products such as soap and shampoo, furniture, and even some clothing.
