Plano city leaders debate short term rentals

Plano city leaders presented two proposed ordinances Monday night. One would require property owners to register with the city. The second would add amendments to the city's zoning ordinance. A one-year ban on new short-term rentals expires this May, so the city is focusing on passing rules to regulate existing and future properties.
