Penn Medicine tests faster radiation treatment for cancer patients
Penn Medicine is testing a faster form of proton beam therapy called FLASH for patients with recurrent head and neck cancers. Doctors say the treatment is designed to destroy tumors while reducing damage to healthy tissue.
