NTTA working to secure new contract for patrols, crash investigations
The North Texas Tollway Authority said it is in active discussions with multiple law enforcement agencies as its contract with the Texas Department of Public Safety is set to come to an end. Right now, DPS patrols and responds to crashes on tollways, but that contract is set to expire Aug. 31.
