North Texas crossing guard honored for heroic actions that saved student’s life

“Not only do the kids need me, but I need those kids,” said Jerry Boyd. He witnessed a truck about to hit a child and pushed the child out of the way. Boyd was struck by the truck and recovered from his injuries in the hospital.
