New Moderna COVID vaccine should protect against new variant

Vaccine maker Moderna says its updated COVID shot should protect against the highly-mutated new variant. According to the company, testing suggests it's updated vaccine generates a strong immune response against that new variant. The FDA sign off for those shots is expected before Tuesday.
