New appellate team announced for Karmelo Anthony
A new legal team was announced on Monday, June 22, to represent Karmelo Anthony as he appeals his murder conviction. Earlier this month the teen was sentenced to 35 years for the murder of Austin Metcalf at a track meet in Frisco. Anthony's legal team includes Russell Wilson II, who is a Dallas trial and appellate attorney. The team says they are serving pro bono and will pursue all available avenues of appeal.
