Most U.S. kids consume caffeine daily, CDC says, often through sweets and drinks
Nearly two‑thirds of American children ages 2 to 19 consume caffeine, according to the CDC, averaging about 19.4 milligrams a day – roughly two‑thirds the amount in a can of Coca‑Cola. The top sources include sodas, sweet baked goods, teas, coffees, flavored milk, and candy.
