Mike Ditka, Bears legend with Cowboys ties, dies at 86
Pro Football Hall of Famer Mike Ditka, who coached the Chicago Bears to a Super Bowl championship following the 1985 season, died Friday at age 86, his family announced. Ditka also played four seasons for the Dallas Cowboys and spent nine seasons as an assistant coach under Tom Landry, contributing to two Super Bowl titles.
