Melissa ISD bus driver arrested for second time in a week for alleged child sex crimes
Phillip Bates was arrested by Collin County authorities last Friday for possession of child pornography, sex abuse of a child and sexual performance of a child. Last Tuesday, Bates was initially arrested by McKinney police for similar charges. Melissa ISD confirms he no longer works for the district.
