Judge declares mistrial in Harvey Weinstein retrial after jury deadlocks
A New York judge has declared a mistrial in the retrial of Harvey Weinstein after jurors were unable to reach a verdict following two days of deliberations. The case centered on allegations that he raped an aspiring actress in a Manhattan hotel room in 2013. Weinstein will remain in prison because of previous sex‑crime convictions in New York and California.
