Johnson County sheriff indicted again, now accused of lying under oath
The Johnson County sheriff, already facing criminal allegations of abusing his office and retaliating against female employees, has now been indicted on a new charge of aggravated perjury. A fresh arrest warrant was issued today, adding to the ongoing case in which prosecutors allege a pattern of misconduct inside the sheriff’s office. He has pleaded not guilty.
