Follow "Citizen Flame" as Mesquite residents learn what it takes to be a firefighter

The Mesquite Fire Department is giving residents a firsthand look at what it takes to become a firefighter through its Citizens Fire Academy. The nine-week course includes everything from running hoses and climbing ladders to battling live flames.
