Evacuations underway, schools closed as wildfire grows in Palo and Jack counties, officials say
According to the Texas A&M Forest Service, as of 6 a.m. Tuesday, Aug. 25, the fire is only 5% contained, with crews instructing residents in Jack County along County Road 2210 toward Highway 281 to evacuate.
